By 2050, Fort Worth’s population is projected to exceed 1.3 million—an increase of roughly 300,000 people since 2024. That’s an average of about 12,000 new residents each year over the next 25 years. As our city grows, we have big decisions to make about where and how people will live, work, and play—and how we invest in infrastructure, neighborhoods, and quality of life to support that growth.
